I went to Hobby Lobby Today to get some ribbon and decided to take a peek and see if they had any of lionbrand's microspun. On my way back to the yarn I noticed an out of place aisle that had yarn in it, by golly it was clearance! So I went back to get a cart and then got quite a bit of goodies!
- I got a pr of Lionbrand us 35 needles for 3.33 (i always see afghan projects for these needles but never wanted to spend 12 bucks on them)
- pr of balene 14" #6 needles for 1.49
- pr of susan bates 14" #11 for 1.15
- 3 skeins each moda dea dream in airforce, leaf,& waterlilly for .59@
- 3 skeins each moda dea lazy daisy in wavy navy, bubblegum & sea grass for .59@
- 1 skein lion brand wool ease in wood 232 for 1.48
- 1 skein lion brand watercolors in sunset rose for 1.06
- 1 skein lion brand landscapes (no color listed) for 1.06
- 1 skein yarn bee soft delight in red for .49
regularly all that would have been 70.96 but I only paid 20.68
I'm quite the happy camper today :)
Big Bob's screen ran into a lighting problem, so I'm unfortunately stuck on wee bob with none of my files at hand.
I've recently finished a scarf made from yarn from two sweaters I ripped apart. I took two strands of the pink/white yarn and added a strand of the maroon and it came together quite nicely.
I'm currently trying to finish the baby matney blanket as well as work on a baby sweater vest from Knits, Knots, Buttons, and Bows. Right now it's looking damn cute and it will be my first attempt at a garment. I'm hoping I can use it to feel comfortable with armhole shaping for when I make Lori's sweater this fall.
Hopefully I can get Big Bob fixed soon and get back to posting pictures!
